Brawny Broccoli

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb broccoli
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3/4 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Recipe

  • 1 cook broccoli in a small amount of water,or steam until just tender; drain and set aside.
  • 2 while broccoli is cooking, fry bacon in skillet until crisp; remove, crumble and set aside.
  • 3 drain skillet.
  • 4 add onions to skillet; cook for 2 minutes.
  • 5 add walnuts, cook stirring frequently for 5 minutes or until golden.
  • 6 stir in bacon and broccoli; heat through.
  • 7 serve.
