- 1/4 lb braunschweiger sausage
- 2 slices rye bread (can use white bread in a pinch)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 slice bermuda onion (sweet)
- coarse salt
Recipe
- 1 take two slices of rye bread and spread them with a thin coat of mayonnaise.
- 2 pile on several quarter-inch slices of braunschweiger.
- 3 top with a generous slice of bermuda (sweet) onion
- 4 lightly sprinkle with coarse salt.
- 5 add the top slice of bread, cut on the diagonal.
