Braunschweiger Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1/4 lb braunschweiger sausage
  • 2 slices rye bread (can use white bread in a pinch)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 slice bermuda onion (sweet)
  • coarse salt

Recipe

  • 1 take two slices of rye bread and spread them with a thin coat of mayonnaise.
  • 2 pile on several quarter-inch slices of braunschweiger.
  • 3 top with a generous slice of bermuda (sweet) onion
