Broccoli Cheese Casserole

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 4 1/2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sour cream, daisy brand
  • 1 cup 4% cottage cheese, daisy brand
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup matzos, hand cracked
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 lightly grease 2-quart casserole dish.
  • 3 parboil broccoli and spread in baking dish.
  • 4 in a medium-sized mixing bowl, beat sour cream, cottage cheese, butter, eggs, and salt and pepper until well blended. fold in cracked matzo and pour mixture over broccoli.
  • 5 arrane thinly sliced tomatoes on top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • 6 bake for 45 minutes. let cool 5 minutes before serving.
