Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 6 cups water
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 packages chopped frozen broccoli
- 6 cups milk
- 1 lb velveeta cheese, cubed
- 8 ounces egg noodles
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in large pan.
- 2 add onion, saute' 3 minutes.
- 3 add water and bouillon cubes.
- 4 heat to boiling, stirring occasionally until cubes are dissolved.
- 5 add noodles and salt.
- 6 cook, uncoverd 3 minutes.
- 7 stir in frozen broccoli and garlic salt.
- 8 cook 4 minutes.
- 9 turn down heat.
- 10 add milk and cheese.
- 11 continue cooking until cheese melts.
- 12 stirring frequently.
- 13 do not allow to boil once milk and cheese has been added.
- 14 can be left on stove on low heat for up to an hour or left on low in a crockpot.
- 15 is still wonderful reheated.
