Brittany Salad Dressing

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 cups sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 a half-hour before serving, combine sugar, vinegar& sour cream until smooth.
  • 2 refrigerate (i prefer to refrigerate overnight).
  • 3 fry bacon until crispy, saving 1/4 of the fat.
  • 4 dry bacon on paper towels and chop into small pieces.
  • 5 to serve, heat 1/4 cup bacon fat until piping hot and pour over crisp, chilled lettuce pieces.
  • 6 toss to coat.
  • 7 place individual servings on chilled plates& sprinkle with bacon pieces.
  • 8 top with sour cream mixture& garnish with cherry tomatoes.
