Bread Pudding

Ingredients

- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 cups old bread
- 1/2 cup raisins
Recipe
- 1 put the bread cubes and raisins in a large bowl.
- 2 pour 1/2 cup milk over the bread and raisin; set a side.
- 3 beat into the eggs, the sugar, the remaining 1-1/2 cup of milk, and nutmeg.
- 4 pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes and stir.
- 5 pour it into a buttered 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
- 6 bake at 350°f about 25 minutes or until done.
