Bran Muffins (pre-1940's)

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups natural bran
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted fat (butter)
- 1 1/2 cups milk (sweet)
Recipe
- 1 sift together the flour, salt and baking powder.
- 2 blend with bran and add dry ingredients.
- 3 add the milk beaten egg suagr and butter (fat).
- 4 have a thick but a moist batter.
- 5 grease a muffin pan.
- 6 bake 30 minutes.
