Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs calf liver
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 slice liver in small, thin pieces. brown the onions in shortening. stir in the paprika and tomato paste. add the liver. cover and simmer over a low flame for 15 minutes, or until the liver is done. add salt just before serving.
