Breakfast Couscous

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/2 cup skim milk or 1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1/4 cup uncooked couscous
  • ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 heat milk, vanilla, maple syrup, and raisins in a saucepan over medium heat until hot and steamy. do not boil!
  • 2 stir in couscous, cover, and remove from heat.
  • 3 let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 4 sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm.
