Breakfast Egg Casserole

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread, crust removed, 1 inch cubes
  • 4 ounces diced ham or 4 ounces cooked & drained sausage
  • 4 ounces swiss cheese
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • drained canned mushroom
  • cooked diced broccoli
  • bell pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place 1/2 of the bread cubes in a greased 9" square pan. over the bread cubes, layer half of the meat and 1/2 of each cheese. repeat all layers ending with cheese. beat the remainng ingredients and pour over the pan. cover loosely and refrigerate overnight.
  • 2 to freeze: cover loosely and place in a gallon ziploc freezer bag. label & seal.
  • 3 if thawed, bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes. if frozen, bake at 300 for 25 minutes, then 350 for 35 minutes.
