Braised Cabbage (guisadong Repolyo)

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, minced
- 8 -10 garlic cloves, crushed
- 4 ounces ground lamb
- 4 chicken livers, sliced
- 8 ounces chicken breasts
- 5 cups cabbage, sliced
- 2 cups water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Recipe
- 1 heat the oil in a wok or casserole. saute the onions until transparent, 2-3 minutes. add garlic and saute until fragrant, about 1 minute. add the ground lamb and saute until lightly browned. add chicken livers and chicken breast and saute until almost cooked.
- 2 stir in the sliced cabbage. pour in water and add the bouillon cubes. simmer over medium heat until cabbage is just tender, about 3 minutes. season with soy sauce.
