Boozy Onions

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 22 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 6 medium onions, peeled and cut in 1/2 inch slices
  • 1/2 cup dry white
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Recipe

  • 1 place onions, , salt, corn syrup and cloves in a saucepan.
  • 2 simmer at a low heat until tender (about 20 minutes).
  • 3 blend flour and butter and then mix into onions to thicken.
  • 4 remove cloves before serving.
