Broccoli Cornbread

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (8 1/2 ounce) box jiffy corn muffin mix
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
  • 8 ounces sour cream, i use low fat
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit.
  • 2 mix all ingredients together well.
  • 3 grease a 8x8 pan, i use pam.
  • 4 pour into prepared pan.
  • 5 bake@ 425 degrees fahrenheit for 40 minutes or until bread is pulling away from side of pan.
  • 6 let sit for 15 minutes until cutting.
