Broccoli For Adults

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
- 2 lbs fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup dry white
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat the olive oil in a large skillet and saute the shallots and garlic for just a few minutes.
- 2 add the broccoli and the cayenne, tossing until combined and coated with the oil.
- 3 add the other ingredients and mix together.
- 4 bring the broccoli to a boil, then turn down the heat and simmer, uncovered for 3-5 minutes until crisp tender.
- 5 please do not over cook the broccoli!
- 6 remove just the broccoli from the skillet, leaving the liquid in the pan.
