Broccoli For Adults

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
  • 2 lbs fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup dry white
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat the olive oil in a large skillet and saute the shallots and garlic for just a few minutes.
  • 2 add the broccoli and the cayenne, tossing until combined and coated with the oil.
  • 3 add the other ingredients and mix together.
  • 4 bring the broccoli to a boil, then turn down the heat and simmer, uncovered for 3-5 minutes until crisp tender.
