Braised (pilaf) Rice

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 2 ounces chopped onions
  • 8 ounces long grain rice
  • 400 ml chicken stock or 400 ml vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place 3 oz butter in an ovenproof pan; add onion.
