Braised Lamb Chops With Apples And Onions

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb chops
  • 2 apples
  • 2 onions
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 25 g butter
  • 90 ml water
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley

Recipe

  • 1 season the chops well with salt and pepper.
  • 2 peel and core apples and cut into wedges.
  • 3 peel onions and separate into rings.
  • 4 melt butter in frying pan and sear the meat on both sides.
  • 5 add the water with the worcestershire sauce, cover and cook 10 minute on medium high heat.
  • 6 turn chops over, add apple and onions. reduce heat, cover and cook for a further 30 minute on medium low heat.
  • 7 garnish with parsley and serve with creamed potatoes.
