Broccoli And Cauliflower Casserole

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup minute white rice
- 3 cups water
- 10 ounces broccoli florets
- 10 ounces cauliflower florets
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 lb processed cheese, cubed
- 10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup dry white
- 5 3/8 ounces milk
- 1 1/2 cups crushed round buttery crackers
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 deg (f). break up rice in bag.
- 2 simmer broccoli and cauliflower florets in water for 10 minutes, or until crunchy. drain.
- 3 in a large saucepan, melt butter and saute onion, until tender. stir cauliflower, broccoli and rice into the saucepan.
- 4 slowly stir in and simmer for 2 minutes on medium heat.
- 5 stir in the cheese, chicken soup and milk.
- 6 transfer the entire mixture to a 9"x13" baking dish and sprinkle the crushed crakers on top.
- 7 bake 30 minutes.
