Broccoli And Cauliflower Casserole

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup minute white rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 10 ounces broccoli florets
  • 10 ounces cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 lb processed cheese, cubed
  • 10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup dry white
  • 5 3/8 ounces milk
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed round buttery crackers

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 deg (f). break up rice in bag.
  • 2 simmer broccoli and cauliflower florets in water for 10 minutes, or until crunchy. drain.
  • 3 in a large saucepan, melt butter and saute onion, until tender. stir cauliflower, broccoli and rice into the saucepan.
  • 4 slowly stir in and simmer for 2 minutes on medium heat.
  • 5 stir in the cheese, chicken soup and milk.
  • 6 transfer the entire mixture to a 9"x13" baking dish and sprinkle the crushed crakers on top.
  • 7 bake 30 minutes.
