Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fettuccine
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli or 1 cup frozen broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 cook fettuccine according to package directions.
  • 2 bring 1" of water and broccoli to a boil.
  • 3 reduce heat and cover. simmer 4-6 minutes longer or until crisp-tender. drain.
  • 4 in a large saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour until smooth.
  • 5 gradually whisk in milk. bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. remove from heat.
  • 6 stir in parmesan cheese and broccoli.
  • 7 drain fettuccine and top with broccoli mixture.
