Carrot-peppermint Stomach Soother

Ingredients

- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon dried peppermint or 1 peppermint tea bag
Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan, combine all of the ingredients and bring to a boil. reduce the heat to medium-low, cover loosely, and simmer until the carrots are very tender, about 15 minutes. if you're using a tea bag, discard it now. blend or process the mixture until it is very smooth. sip warm.
- 2 if the weather is damp: stir in a pinch of ground ginger before blending.
- 3 if the weather is dry: stir in a teaspoon of lemon juice before blending.
