Bobbak's Persian Cookoo

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 -7 potatoes, peeled and shredded (preferably white)
  • 1 onion, shredded
  • 2 eggs
  • mint
  • salt
  • pepper
  • turmeric
  • margarine
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat over to 400 degree fahrenheit
  • 2 put shredded potatoes, onion, eggs, salt, pepper, turmeric, mint into a bowl and mix together.
  • 3 heat up oil on stove (do not let it boil!)
  • 4 get baking dish and rub margin on the dishes
  • 5 then add potato mix
  • 6 pour hot oil on top of the potato mix
  • 7 put into oven and cook for one hour (or until a nice golden shell).
  • 8 cut into squares and serve.
