simple kale soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 bunch kale, rinsed and sliced
  • 1 1/2 pounds potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 pound diced fully cooked turkey ham
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

    Ready Time: 1 hr 45 mins

  • measure the chicken broth into a large pot. bring to a boil over medium heat. when it comes to a boil, add the kale, potatoes, ham and garlic. season with ground black pepper. simmer covered over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
