Brandied Cherries

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/3 lb sweet cherries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 5 tablespoons
  • vanilla ice cream, for 2 servings

Recipe

  • 1 cut cherries in half and pit them, working over a bowl to catch the juices.
  • 2 set aside.
  • 3 in a small heavy saucepan over medium high heat, bring the sugar and 1/4 cup of to boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
