Bordelonville Pecan Filling

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup butter

Recipe

  • 1 cook the butter, sugar and milk in a saucepan until thick.
  • 2 add pecans until of a thick consistency.
  • 3 cool and spread between the layers to be frosted.
  • 4 the filling will harden as it cools.
