Breakfast Bars

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup dried apricot, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dates, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon coconut or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup soymilk
  • 1 egg white, slightly beaten

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 180°c.
  • 2 place all ingredients in a large bowl and combine well.
  • 3 line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper.
  • 4 press oat mix into pan.
  • 5 bake 30 mins or until top is golden.
  • 6 cool completely and cut completely.
  • 7 try adding maccadamias too.
